Lice is no lie
Photos pending. In the constant battle with viruses either the computer or my memory stick decides to default. I have this great photo I want to upload, but for some reason when I plug the mem stick into the computer all that appears is someones Spanish homework. I have no idea.
Mom, Dan and Brett come in for a visit in a couple of days. I am very excited. I need a break, and this will be the longest that I have had, nearly 3 weeks, due to meetings on either side of my family´s visit.
Things have slowed down significantly since I last wrote. Good thing the lice kept me busy. I am not, unfortunatly, joking. It was war and I won, but now my scalp itches from the shampoo and my hair is falling out. The hair that didn´f fall out I have been pulling out in a return to early service anxiety and a general ¨What am I doing here?¨question playing over and over in the cabeza.
But I am so excited to have the folks here and people are really excited to meet them. All the women really want to meet Mom. And I´ve had a couple great evening up with my favorite neighbors Bei and Eda Umo in their community. Birthday celebrations.
And I am thinking about applying for a position that will fill up some of my ¨empty time¨. Then I can enjoy being in my community for the social aspect, just hanging out, working when there is work but not worrying so much when there isn´t.
